Google photos question

Once I'm all backed up can I erase photos out of my iPhone pictures and not lose them??

It is my understanding that you don't just delete the pics off the phone. You go into settings and select free up space.

It does the same thing if they're backed up. But you still have to go into your photos and empty the deleted pics folder on an iphone. The app even tells you there's one more step to free up space.

Well, other than mapping most of the world, putting it into turn by turn directions, as well as showing you what any street in America looks like and then giving it all away for free

I just wanted to make sure he knew that you don't hit the delete button on the pic, because that will delete the cloud stored photo also. Had to explain that to my mother in law several times haha
