Google & Amazon closing all the loopholes?

So recently localcast has ceased to work on my fireTV meaning I can't cast videos from apps like cartoonHD to it.
whatever. very annoying.
Well last night I went to watch a show on cartoonHD directly on my android phone and after about 30-45 seconds it displayed a message "video cannot be played".
i guess they've gotten to the point where they are sniffing out the streams now and shutting everything down.

Google and Amazon are almost certainly going to be 2 of the all-controlling megacorps we always see in science fiction. I doubt they get there by letting free loaders pirate stuff they're selling.

My Chromecast works fine casting from cartoonHD and showboxHD. I fall asleep to movies every night.

Google is definitely constantly closing loopholes in Android. Can't do nearly as much stuff as in the past.
