I have successfully locked myself out of my google account, specifically gmail, on all of my devices. I have attemped 5-6 times to use the account recovery feature where they send a passcode to another email address, answer three questions and then they reset everything.

However, when I use the recovery code it asks when i started the account (which i dont know), last password(i dont know) and another email address for them to contact me.

Everytime i use this function I recieve an email saying that they cant verifty that this is my email account and I am basically SOL. My entire life is tied to this gmail account sadly.

Has anyone experienced this or know someone who has and how did they recover the account? Thank you for any help

Bought a samsung note 5 phone off eBay about 1 year ago and the same thing happened with the previous owner having been locked out his Google account. The phone would not startup without a legit Google account. I trying everything and watched 20 plus youtube videos to bypass this security measure. Nothing worked. I am out 250.00. Good luck

If you can find it, Google has an actual customer support phone line you could call and they might could help you out.

The recovery method you mentioned is your best bet.

Think long and hard about when you set up the account. And they just ask for the last password you ‘remember.’

Just get the answers close and it should unlock successfully. It happened with mine. I had no idea the answers either.
