First time posting on this board so forgive my ignorance.

I travel with my PS4, now PS5 and a small TV from home to work, a lot. The TV finally gave out, so I’m looking to replace with a gaming monitor.

Is the 144HZ really worth the extra money for gaming or is 60HZ really good enough? I’m not trying to win any tournaments, just compliment the PS5.

Any suggestions are welcome.

You'll probably want higher resolution over higher frame rate

Does the PS5 ever output at a level advantageous to 144Hz or does it max out at 120Hz?

Caps at 120 htz and 120fps. Those happen to be the caps on cod anyway.

Caps at 120 on Cold War, but 60 on BO4. Is that normal?

I ended up getting a 27” MSI curved monitor. So far so good, but I noticed it only has 60HZ for Black Ops 4, but 120HZ on Cold War.
