Gaming Laptop Recommendation

Not enough space to build or buy a gaming desktop in my house. So I'd like to get a mid-range gaming laptop with at least the following:
- 17"+ screen
- RTX 2060 at a minimum
- Numpad
Looking around myself with a ~$1,800 max budget, there are plenty of options (though I would like to avoid having to shell out $1,800). But because there are plenty of options, I'm stuck in analysis paralysis...
Suggestions?

Couple years ago I've bought the ASUS RoG for around $1200. It was a replacement for desktop and I didn't game but played/tried some options when i bought it. I use it for everyday stuff.

You can build gaming PCs that are smaller than laptops

True - I simply don't have a desk or a spot on a desk to "house" a desktop. Yes I could set it on the kitchen table or something, but with four kids under the age of six running around, I'm not comfortable just leaving it there.
