Galaxy Note 8 battery draining quickly--Update 01-02-18. Latest update seemed to help

Anyone else with a new Galaxy Note 8 finding that their battery is running down unusually quick with minimal use--unlike it did when first used? 2 month old Note 8. Kind of acting like my old Note 4 did before retired.

I loved my Note 7 and can't wait to get the 8. Waiting for my Apple 7 upgrade to come due mate.

Yeah, forgot that was available. Nothing significantly using up battery, but did "optimize" it. Thanks for the suggestion. I am not too tech savvy.

Damn. I just got mine and that was one of the biggest issues with my Note 5. I love the battery life thus far. Running it on power save may help

Just got one this week. Love the battery optimization feature when it gets low. Really prolongs the battery time

If you use Allo, deny camera permission. It helped my battery significantly.
