I have like 25 different email addresses with different jobs, etc that I have to manage. I was getting sick and tired of always having to log out of a gmail, log in with another gmail, log into outlook, bla bla bla

I discovered a desktop email client that allows you to put all of your emails into one software. What's cool about it is that it syncs with all of your accounts so if you do something in the email client, it syncs like you are doing it in the actual gmail or outlook.

I found this to be extremely helpful and I just wanted to gift the Tech Board with my discovery. If you have to manage multiple email accounts, you will love it.

oh, and it's FREE

I've used eM Client for a few years now and it does all that. They have a mobile app for your phone too and it takes outlook calendar info from other people and integrates it into your calendar

You can change email personas in Outlook through the drop down to change the "from" address. I have eight or nine email addresses that auto sort into specific folders based on which email address is the send to.

I wonder if it can get around my work email? I only carry my work phone for email.

Outlook is great for managing a few emails but when there are many different email accounts to manage it becomes slow and bloated and when I launch outlook, it takes like 2-3 minutes to load up. With this software, it loads up instantly and performs great. I think I have 22 accounts total in there and it’s still fast and smooth

Welcome to the Microsoft family. To be fair, they're not trying to be slow and bloated on purpose, but when you're tying to data mine as fast as Google, something has to give.

I should have specified, the "original" outlook client, not the new one. The beta test for the new one got pushed to me as an insider user over a year ago, and I reverted back to traditional within a few hours. It's odd how the web client was superior to the "new" fat client, even. The new fat client doesn't seem as shitty as it once was.

I'm generally distrustful of providing authentication and MFA to third party clients, but I'm paranoid.

Didn't outlook express do this like 15 years ago? I didn't realize that feature had disappeared
