A family member’s fb has been hacked multiple times. He can’t see his account and he mails are getting forwarded to the hacker while they try to scam people selling fake tickets/campers,ect…. I posted telling friends to ignore him bc he was a scammer(making sure to block him on the post) and my post got deleted ten minutes later. Is there a chance a hacker like this works for Facebook or just had access to their systems? I’m not very tech savvy, but my relative has been going back and forth just trying to get his account back the last couple weeks. Any ideas?

Should probably change passwords to accounts that are tied to same email. Happened to my wife years ago and was a PITA to get cleared up. Did your family member click a link from text or something and get prompted for FB password to view it? You can report the account as a friend

He said he didn’t. He also uses two factor identification and has different password for everything. What threw me off was my fb post got deleted after ten minutes for no reason.

Edit:my fb post was moved to archive, not totally deleted. I put it back and will see what happens.

your "relative" uses a shite password and does not know how to use google on their own, apparently...

Whoever it is probably has access to your family member's email account as well.

It appears that the individual in question may have gained entry to the email account of one of your relatives.
