Looks like the state is going to piggyback incentives on top of federal money for rural highspeed internet.

Anyone know much about how likely companies are to adopt internet service or what technologies they will use? I've read that actually using the lines doesn't work well with all of the interference, so I'm assuming they would just use the poles to hang more obvious lines??

Once Starlink goes live, rural internet issues will be a thing of the past.

Hate to say it but real actual rural people won’t get cable ran to their house. It simply cost way too much, I was quoted 25k to run it 3/4 of a mile from the main road that has cable.
I found a local internet company which provides fixed wireless internet which gives me a consistent 25 down and 3 up and no data cap. The original line is a 10k gbps fiber line from cox. Or rural people can wait for Starlink, which I will probably switch to depending on data caps and speed.

My local electrical co-op is doing exactly that, right now. Spectrum is on the main road, but refuses to come into our neighborhood, because there are only about 10 houses. Power company doesn't have an issue with this and has already ran the fiber throughout the neighborhood and doesn't have an issue coming up my 1000 ft driveway either.
They have 3 plans currently. 200 down for $60/month is their cheapest plan.

What company are you using? That would be an upgrade for me.

Starlink is the answer and only about a year away.
