Just installed a eero pro 6e in my new house and I’ve noticed since day 1 it randomly disconnects and the status light blinks white for a minute or so then everything reconnects. It says it has the latest firmware. It drops out multiple times a day at random. I’ve tried unplugging it and restarting with no success. I have confirmed it’s not my ISP by hooking up my old router which worked flawlessly for 2 days.

I haven’t had time to call the support number yet when they are open, but I feel for the amount of money I spent it should work out of the box.

Anyone see similar issues? Any fixes?

Return while you can and just bite the bullet on a Unifi set up.

Do it right. Do it once.

See my thread from last week, I've owned every model of Eero they have made and I'm still weighing pulling the trigger on Orbis or Decos

I just don’t understand how something brand new just doesn’t work and they can still sell them. I’m gonna give their tech support one chance and if not I’m gonna get the Orbis.

Their issue is that they have too many flavors that they try and and encompass with software..Wait until you get an update that simply says "network reliability"..There are reddit subs too where we essentially whine about our $600 paperweights and whether we should buy the other brands

I legit have the Orbis and Decos in a cart on Amazon and BBuy

UPDATE

I ended up having a bad unit. Swapped it out for a different one and it’s working fine now. EERO is sending me a replacement unit. The other 2 units I have work great.

I originally disabled my ATT router/modem after plugging my EEro router into it. Following instructions. ATT guy came out for another issue and said I would get a stronger signal using their router and using EEro for expanding signal only. He was right.
