I have to edit a few videos and am looking to take some parts out and speed other parts up of these videos. These are videos of robotic surgical cases. What do you recommend as a choice of software?
Second, what is the best software for a slideshow presentation?

Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert and am only filling in until one chimes in. Nero AG is cheap and easy. I use it for canoeing and wildlife videos.

KDEN Live is free and pretty much dead simple to use (good thing as I'm not a editor of any sort).

I use a free program called Shotcut. It's easy enough but not iphone easy. Anything you use will probably require a few videos to learn how to do what you want.

I use Capcut for everything. Overlays, captions, audio, effects, animations, key frame adjustments, etc. And I have 1.2M followers on TikTok, 420K on YT. I know a bit about content.
