Directv quit selling the AM21 about 6 months ago. At the time they were $50. They used to go for $20-30 on ebay. The price has really gone up since then. Solid Signal has them for $199. I would watch ebay. Buying used not much can go wrong with them. Either they work or they don't.

Do those channels offer anything that is not available on Amazon Prime 4K or Netflix 4K?

Yes, that one channel shows an MLB Game of the Week among other live events (The Masters, US Open/PGA Champ supposedly as well as US Open tennis and Wimbledon) that obviously aren't available elsewhere.
DTV has some exclusive 4K content in the movie department that they show on the 4K movie channel as well as some docs and shows.
