In the process of moving and att U-verse which I currently have is not available . Cox looks to be only real cable. Mini boxes are options for bedrooms. What channels can I not get on those boxes?

No premiums and no access to DVR content if you have any.

Umm what. You can get everything on the mini boxes that your main DVR has. You just need one dvr contour. I assume were reading the question differenly and the OP wants a DVR in living room and mini boxes in the bedrooms.

Maybe there are different "mini" boxes but the one we got when they stopped pumping channels through the wire does not have access to the main DVR box and is missing lots of stuff. My other boxes could still get to the DVR.

There is the contour box with DVR, the Contour box without DVR which will play from a DVR in the house, and the mini box. The mini box is a stand alone box that is limited in the channels it receives. Consequently it is also much cheaper.
