Costco Concierge and Jacked-Up Laptop

I’m getting conflicting info googling etc: if I take my 6-mo-old laptop into Costco w a jacked up touchpad (the left side physically sticks), will they replace it?
It’s under the original HP warranty.
I’d just rather not deal with mailing crap.

You have to call Costco concierge to start the warranty claim. You don't bring it into the store. I'm sure you will have to send the broken one back.
You can only exchange in the first 90 days for electronics.

Thx. Probably just as easy to go through HP. This was a good deal but my experience with HP touchpads has been consistently bad. Three strikes and they’re out.

Nope. In my case, they'll ask you to get an estimate on how much it'll cost to repair, you email it in, if they approve the estimate, you get it repaired and they'll reimburse you with a costco gift card.
