I changed from AT&T to Verizon on Friday and kept the same cell number. My AT&T iPhone says "No Service" but is still getting texts that are not going to my new Android.
The new Android does send and receive texts with my correct phone number. What can be done to stop texts to the old out of service iphone?

Similar thing with me years ago.
All of your family and friends that have iphones have you as a contact in their address book. The iphone address book has a special line for phone numbers adding imessage along with Cell/Work/Home.
You need to have your friends/family switch your phone number in the address book to "Cell" or something other than imessage.

Turn your old phone off then power cycle the new phone and have them try it again.
