I can’t pair my phone and smart TVs. Setup is Cox gigablast to ASUS router 2.4 & 5G. Tv and phone on the 5G. ASUS is mod # AC1900 dual band; Visio is 4K smart is V505-G9 also have chrome cast ultra plugged in.
Tried this morning to pair and now the Airplay input which was there yesterday is gone. Can anyone help

Try putting both of them on the 2.4ghz band and see if that works.

Along those lines….
I had the game on my ESPN app on the phone.
I mirrored it to the TV which worked fine until I tried to enlarge the screen to full screen on my phone. It went black …. If I’d minimize it, it was fine again. Is this a bandwidth issue?
Maybe 2.4 vs 5 on the settings?
Thoughts?

Rebooted computer reset modem and router. I can cast to chromecast now. Still no airplay

I can't do that with my mesh network and Iphone 12...
Anyway, I never have gotten Airplay to work right, I just use a ROKU for everything people say they have to cast...

I have an LG that is a few years old so not sure if this is it, but I had to go into the tv settings and set up the airplay options. I added a pin for security. Once I did that the airplay has been pretty seamless.
Also, if mirroring phone, to get a full screen video, just rotate the phone to landscape and the video will go full screen on the tv as well.
