Ok so this question isn't about specs or any of that but to me the 2 most important questions for these items are:
1) Which of these has the fastest time to load their "Live" camera?
2) How delayed is the image/sound of "Live"?

I'm asking because I have 2 Canary cameras and each takes 6-10 seconds to load the "Watch Live" feature. However, it's only 2-3 seconds behind the actual live event it's showing, which is good.

Does Nest or Ring have a faster response time to load it's live view? Seems like Nest can load it's cams in 1-3 seconds.
For the record, I have ATT UVerse 1000mbps internet with 3 Google WiFi pucks and my 2 cameras are no more than 20 feet away and maybe 1, 2 walls max, in between.

sometimes my Canary will never load... The other type of camera system on my network has zero problems but the canary will sit there spinning forever sometimes.

Yea, I want to love Canary but wondering what others experience has been. I think I'm just gonna go with the Nest Cam Outdoor next. I wanted to do the Canary Flex for its 5ghz channel and because it can be moved with ease but the load times are painful.

I think the Nest cams also have a multi cam viewing panel, which seems much nicer than Canary's "swipe right or left to the next cam" approach.

I have the Ring Pro and it's awesome. Routine updates. Live view only takes about 2-3 seconds to load. I usually get motion alerts as soon as they walk into the zone. Very pleased overall.

I have Nest camera and most of the time, it loads with 2-3 seconds. There are times it hangs for about 10 seconds or i need to close and restart. But this may not be a great comparison as I'm only on 24 mbps ATT uVerse and an iPhone 6 which is already slow and glitchy.

As far as zone notifications, i get those almost instantly.

overall, i'm happy with my purchase and will be getting another one.

Yea I think I'll get one with weekend for my front door. I hear that the Nest Outdoor Cam has a 24ft long cord though so dunno where the heck to put all of that. I need maybe half that distance.

It does have a very long cord but it is split up in the middle by a transformer of some kind. So it can get bulky.

Piece of advice, take the time to play with your zones and get it dialed in as best as you can. Otherwise, you will get over alerted and lose your mind. I get alert fatigue sometimes since certain shadows and light changes the camera considers motion.

Do you happen to have an Echo Show? I plan to integrate the Nest Outdoor Cam with my Echo Show too so I can see out my front door occasionally by voice control, which is nice in the kitchen and all.

I don’t. I only have the echo dot. honestly, I find it useless. Got a few for Christmas and maybe asked Alexa 5 things, 4 of which were tests of what to ask.

So I don't know if anyone cares about this other than us 2 but got the Nest Cam Outdoor and it's perfect.

I'm about to sell my Canary All-in-ones. I used to love them but they just take a little too long to load as a baby cam. Whereas the Nest kills it. Takes about 1-2 seconds to load the app and 1-2 seconds for it to load my feed. It can even load multiple feeds so I can see all of my kids rooms.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll also gladly recommend the nest cams. They just work well and fast as anything I've used.

Glad it worked out. I really enjoy mine too and don't have many complaints other than I don't want to spend the money to buy more.

I used to have a Canary and i must say, the resolution is just great. We liked it then coz it really doesn't look like a camera at first glance, more like a speaker. I also noticed that it takes a couple of seconds to load, maybe because all of its controls are on the app? Idk. I read about a comparison of canary over others. I think it would've been better if it has button controls or something. though, it really is great for its price.
