Can anyone recommend a business card scanning system?
in a perfect world i am looking for something that has both an app and a desktop scanner. i dont really want to try to take a picture of the 2,000 cards i currently have, but want to use the app in the future.
also, am hoping to find something that will allow these contacts to be stored in some sort of cloud.
TIA
for your troubles

Damn! I will have to remember this tactic!
I use ScanBizCards Pro. It allows me to do something I couldn't do with others I tried. It let's me scan, correct and save to my device, save to the cloud, AND (this was what sold me) send it into my company's Salesforce CRM as a lead, where there I could either make lead notes or convert it to an Account, a Contact and an Opportunity (if it actually represented an opportunity). I appreciate that a yuuuuge amount!
Oh, I forgot, you can line up a 3x4 group of cards and perform a batch scan. The only issue I found is those really off the wall cards or those where somebody decided a magnifying glass is needed in order to read the email and phone info.

I have a "Neat" desk scanner. It works great, transcribes the info for me and keeps pdf or jpg files of each card, invoice and receipt.
