If anyone sees a good OLED deal

No such thing with LG really being the only one making them at the moment. Unless you want to pay $10,000 for a Panasonic.

Should see some more players in Jan.

After spending nearly 2 hours in BestBuy today, I can't convince myself to buy a 1080 after seeing the quality of the 4Ks.

The cost difference is really small at this point, so get the 4k. But if you look at the 4k next to OLED, then you'll see why I'm waiting.

LG is only real player as mentioned above, so I will wait till next year and get OLED. I can "slum" it with the Samsung 55" HDTV I have for now

Like I said, I want my TV to cost $500, support 4k and be delivered to me rolled up in a cardboard cylinder.

Make it happen.

I'm working with a 32" 2009 Sony and moving into a new place in January. Have to get something bigger.

The Vizio M55 is down to $799 vs the $849 it's been hanging around at across the board.

If it were any other time of the year I would have bought it already. Unfortunately, I have saved up all my >$800 expenses for this time of year

The 49" is $530 but I think they are sold out. The 50" is $700.

My old Sony a/v receiver died yesterday so I need to find another one asap. Hoping someone has a solid deal during Black Friday or cyber Monday.

the last 3 years, Amazon has had a solid midrange Yamaha receiver for 299 on Black Friday. It was the RX-V671, then 673, 675, so probably the 677 this year. Highly recommended at that price point.

and here it is

yamaha 677 for 299
