what VPN do you guys recommend using? I have PIA, but when it turn it on and perform google searches, it usually makes me do the "verify you're not a robot" green check mark, and click the pictures which has a traffic light (or something else) BS to verify i'm a human

it's VERY annoying. does google do that to all VPNs? or are some better than others?

Also consider selecting another PIA server from your settings. For example if you are going through Texas, try California or Atlanta, etc.

I use Mullvad. I used PIA for years, but stopped after they were bought by a shady ad company couple years ago.

It's been fine so far but I don't use it daily; just when I'm on public wifi. But I haven't noticed any more human checks than normal.

When PIA was bought, Mullvad seemed to be the consensus most people were going to at the time.

I used PIA for a couple years and it was stable and reliable but with a major speed penalty: without VPN I was getting ~600 mbps down and with PIA it dropped to ~100 mbps no matter which protocol I used. I recently switched to NordVPN and have virtually no speed penalty. I'm not saying Nord is the best, just who I switched to.

Went from PIA to nord as well. Nord does seem to work better and picking up locations quicker.

Google still knows who you are. IP is just one aspect of your digital fingerprint.

now PIA is redirecting espn to the spanish ESPN homepage instead of american, even though i'm always on an american VPN server

of course it happens during FB season, when i happen to need ESPN the most

It's considered one of, if not the better/best ones. Not as user friendly as the rest though.

I just use AirVPN. Got a 3 year deal for like less than 100 bucks and rolled with that. Never had a single issue.
