I’m looking for at least an 8 channel, 2 TB Hard drive, at least 1080 picture, and would like something with no monthly fees. I would like to have at least have one indoor camera with audio out.

What do y’all recommend?

they are not without faults, but Lorex/FLIR have affordable packages in the requirements you are looking for.

Along those same lines, for those of you who have had experience with Dahua, Samsung, Vivotek, Arecont and Hikvision cameras, please comment on what you like and dislike about them.

One dealer I am looking at offers these models and aside from Samsung, I haven't heard of other 4 brands.

I have a lorex system at my house. Installed it about 6 months ago. Overall I’ve been pleased with it. The app can be a little buggy at times but it does what it’s supposed do. I got a 4K 8 channel with 6 camera system for under $600

What happened to the Blink Cameras on Amazon? I bought some for my parents at Christmas and they are great. Looks like an upgraded version came out and now you cannot buy either the new ones, or the old ones. WTF?
