I'm making a Youtube Channel associated with my website, but haven't recorded videos on my computer before.

What's a good basic program/software I can use to record videos that I can then upload to Youtube? Need to be able to show my computer screen. Nothing too fancy, just need the basics available.

Thanks!

Screencastify, screencastomatic, I’m sure there are others.

I've used Open Broadcaster Software to do screen records. You can even overlay a webcam if you want to do that too: LINK

Depends. What kind of computer? On Windows 10 I hit Windows G and it brings up record mode. Record screen. That's it.
Then I edit in Openshot video editor which is free.
