Is this legit
Yeah, getting a bunch of TV for "free," or by paying some shady site $16 a month for 100s of channels which are $12 a piece per month is totally above board.

Depending on the ISP, you may need a VPN. I don't have TVpass paid, I have something different so not exactly sure of all of the differences, but I would imagine a lot more streams, better quality, and VOD. As far as HD on free tier, I am not sure about using the m3u file, but the browser greys out the HD stream button.

I added it and like it. Wish it had HD. Kinda rough on a 77” Oled with SD lol

A good 480p stream is very watchable but noticeably not HD . 720p is low HD and that's most of what ESPN streams in. 1080 is standard HD and 4K is still rare.

On a separate note, I stream a lot of sports that require a TV provider login. If you used this as your primary provider, I assume that would be an issue.

What type of set top box (fire tv, Apple TV, etc.) would someone need to do this?
Can I pay for this with gift cards rather than giving the distributor my credit card?
ETA - I got it working on Apple TV. It was pretty easy
