Best Android Text App for Group Messaging

My wife uses Textra but is extremely frustrated with not being able to add a recipient to an already group thread. She claims you can do it on the I-Phone. Surely there is a text app for droid that do the same.
Please help lol.

There is no true "texting" app (SMS/MMS) that has this feature.
Several third-party messaging apps offer this service.
Iphone offers it.
Google's texting app with RCS does not, and no third-party text messaging app does to my knowledge.
