Why type of cameras are y’all using?
Reolink seems to have a 100 different camera types.

Do you (and Corky) think they have staying power?
If anyone is worried about this, there are 2 things to look for when buying cameras. Make sure the cameras support RTSP and ONVIF.
RTSP (real time streaming protocol) - essentially if a camera supports this then you can add it to any NVR that supports it as well. So if the camera manufacturer.closes shop tomorrow your cameras aren't dead. You may just need to replace the NVR or add a VPN to your house to access the video.
ONVIF - this is less important but it makes it easier to connect the camera to a NVR. It will automatically configure everything once you give the camera up address to the NVR.

I was hoping someone would reply to my earlier post concerning their human/vehicle detection version of the cameras. I bought mine before that was an option and am not happy with the lack of options for fine tuning triggering. I have a hard time balancing nuisance trips vs not triggering at all.
I have the RLC-520A for outside which was great when I was using Blue Iris. Now I would recommend something like the RLC-820A (4K with human/vehicle detection). You need to make sure you have a DVR that can handle 4K.
Anyone with that setup that can speak to how well it works?

I just installed a Security System from Cove that came with some Eufy Cameras.
The cameras integrate into the security system app and send alerts for motion detection and record each incident. The cameras are WIFI and do not need wires because they are solar powered with the solar pad on the top of the camera.
The Cameras do have a USB port to access the video if the WiFi is lost and not sent to the cloud.
It was nice not having to run miles of Siamese coax cable or Ethernet to all the camera locations.
I did find a dead spot on one side of the house that could use a booster.
Setup was a pain as the cameras did not always sync with the WiFi and get provisioned. I had to be almost next to the router at times to successfully provision the camera.
The one down side is that you can’t be a baller and watch the camera feeds on a TV. You are pretty much limited to the App.
