ATT TV seems fine, except for that massive second year rate hike.
I am going to call to cancel after that year then tell them I am going back to cable. Boom 1/2 price.

I still have u-verse and calledAT&T to inquire about switching to AT&T TV. The price is about the same for me and did not see any real advantages to switch.

Maybe he thinks I meant during the contract. I did not.

the contract is two years with escalation after year 1. Unless you're seeing something else.

I imagine there is some "Early termination fee" of sorts. Like my $20/ month for cutting out Directv prior to the 2 year contract.
ATT TV seems attractive, until you start adding up all the "fees". So many fees, you'd think Ticketmaster owned them.
There's the "sports fee" of $8, each extra box, if needed, is $7, etc.

There is. I can't remember exactly, but that is not my plan. I'll pay the full two years.

I'm dropping Uverse at the end of my current billing cycle and signed up for Spectrum internet with intention of getting Sling. But when I was on the phone ordering the internet service, they told me about their live streaming service Spectrum Essentials. Only $15/month and has pretty much all of the channels I watch anyway. And the $15/month is the regular price, not a limited time promo.
