ATT Speed plans question

Ok, so I currently have ATT Fiber for 1gig. I basically get that 900+ up/down when on ethernet and using a google nest router setup to cover front and back of house.
I see that ATT also has a 2gb (120$ I think) and a 5gb (180$ I think). Is there any real world scenario where those would even be feasible / usable?
Most ethernet are tied to 1gig speeds, right? Those seem like absolute overkill for the everyday person streaming everything at 4k and even light gaming. Am I missing a scenario where those would be useful?

Multiple users needing 1Gbps per user at the same time for long periods of time.
1 user with expensive 2.5Gbps+ hardwired setup needing to upload/download massive amounts of data all the time.
those are the two main ones.
The only point of the 2+Gbps speeds are marketing and bragging rights. At&t rolled them out to brag they had faster speeds than Xfinity and people buy it just to say they have it.

Yea I am tempted to maybe go with TMobile 5G Home Internet. It's speeds are slower near me with more like 200down and 20-50up, however, the ping is what kinda hurts it.
However, I am wondering if having TMobile 5g Home Internet would be more beneficial during hurricane season. I can't recall if TMobile went down post Ida but I damn sure recall ATT taking almost 4 weeks to repair my fiber line.

It is always good to have options. T-mobile is getting congested in a few areas. Verizon seems to be more proactive about heavily controlling their wireless home internet service (300/20Mbps) and there aren't many complaints about congestion, yet.
Just about everyone can get by on less internet than they buy these days. I ran my house of 5 with me working from home, 3 kids home schooled and a stay-at-home wife on 50/10Mbps cable internet and it was perfect for us. No issues streaming 4k HDR, even with all the tablets fired up.

Yea, I've even nerded out and youtube'd a bunch of videos where folks have taken the Tmobile 5g home internet gateway and connected 2x2 MIMO and 4x4 MIMO 5g antenna's to it.
That nerd stuff excites me but just not sure it's worth all of that unless I get really bored. Also, those 5g antenna's are about 250$ and the goal is to save money, not spend more.

For home use? Pure dick measuring. I don't care how many people you have streaming 4k and gaming online, you're not going to saturate 1gig symmetric.
For greater context, a 4k stream uses less than 30Mbps. You would need roughly 30 different devices simultaneously streaming to saturate that at 1Gbps

A very extreme few need that kind of speed at home.
