I have the get 3 lines unlimited and add a 4th line free plan with at&t because I also have directv deal. When I went to the att store to change my plan to that, they only simply asked if I had directv but never asked for my directv account number or linked the 2 into 1 bill. I want to cut the cord and cancel directv, I've had it for 10+ years, but I don't want to lose my unlimited cell. Has anyone done this and att not caught it and been able to keep the unlimited cell?

He's getting a reduced price on those plans because he has DTV.

Right, but what I was getting at is that unless he is getting a crazy deal he can "cut the cord" and go with unlimited for $40/line per month.

When I canceled my DirecTV the person on the phone let me know that I won't be receiving my unlimited cell plan at the reduced rate anymore. I was fine with it since I was switching that line to Cricket Wireless anyway.

Thanks! That's what I was wondering. I did see that they now offer standalone unlimited, but it's more expensive than I'm currently paying.
