Me too. I think I jumped from Playstation Vue or whatever it was called. Now my package with grandfather discount is at 79. Last month for me.

To add. The Cloud based DVR would only let you keep recordings for 90 days. They recently changed that to 9 months.

Also, on the DVR, if you wanted to extend a recording, say for a live sporting event, you would have to record the next show/event. That is no more. There is now an option to extend a recording (it may do it automatically, I haven't had to mess with it yet).

You don't. You can use a Firestick or an Apple TV. I have both, and the benefit of the Firestick is that I can put apps on it that Apple won't allow. Also, I keep a Firestick in my laptop bag just for travel. Beats the Hell outta the shitty channel offerings that most hotels and rentals offer.

why would anyone use this over Youtube TV?

I was in on AT&T early too, even got the free Apple TV. The outages were brutal and when they starting raising prices and bailed.

Your experience will be completely dependent on your internet speed.

The same reason someone might choose Sling or Fubo over Youtube TV - they offer different channel lineups. I personally want ATT Sports and Ballys without having to find streams of those channels on some shitty website in order to watch games, so I prefer Dtv. Its the only streaming service that offers both (not counting IPTVs or other services like that)

answer the question
Easy-channel selection. Just on a cursory look, there's at least three channels I watch a lot not offered, and I already gave up another switching from Sudden Link.

hmm.. ok Youtube TV allows me to sort channels by the most watched.

Glad to hear it's stable now, use to go offline almost weekly.

For me it has been the opposite. Since they closed to new customers and I am, well about not to be, grandfathered it's progressively worse. Pixelation, system freezes, etc. I think they are trying to run us legacy subscriptions off to be honest.
