You need to turn wireless on your phone, and/or stop watching youtube.

and for colorchange; i have no phone service where i live so tmobile gave me a free 'microtower' that makes it seem like i have service..the catch is i have unlimited data through tmo but..wait for it...it all goes through my COMCAST MODEM. So whether or not I have WiFi turned on my phone makes no difference.

Do you have neighbors? Because anyone who has T-Mobile can use your cellspot (which means they're using your data). Why don't you just use Wi-Fi Calling? It's pretty reliable on T-Mobile and the voice quality is just as good.

I'm sitting on 3 acres so the odds are long someone is connecting to my tower but it's a risk.

I need it for texts and phone calls which don't work well with WiFi calling plus some of the phones in my household don't support wifi calling.

Thanks Comcast you greedy fricks.

They went to unlimited as well as T-Mobile cell service which includes Metropcs customers. This is for the next 60 days starting on March 13th.

Comcast and T-Mobile to suspend internet data caps for the next 60 days

Comcast and T-Mobile have announced suspensions of their internet data cap policies in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Comcast says it will no longer charge overage fees for home internet customers that go over its broadband data caps, while T-Mobile says it’s removing all data caps for its mobile customers. AT&T and Verizon have taken similar measures.

Must be an area thing, Suddenlink around here got rid of data caps years ago.
