AT&T came to my building today. They didn’t come to my apartment specifically, but I did see them around the building. After they did whatever they did, my WiFi is terrible. Streaming YouTube tv is terrible, buffering and really low resolution. Xbox now says NAT type is strict, and UPnP not successful. Anything I can do?
My Xbox is wired in to my power line extender if that helps. Wireless is also not good after he left.
Thanks in advance

Did you power cycle?
If that means restarting the router and the Xbox, then yeah I did both

I had Uverse when I lived in an apartment 7-8 years ago and the wifi speed was useless as shite. Wired speed was fine though. Went to Best Buy and bought a dual channel router, set it to use 5ghz channel and wifi speed was fine after that.
Either AT&T's wireless router is crap and/or there was just too much traffic/interference from so many wifi networks within range in an apartment complex and most people had AT&T all running on 2ghz channel.

Just seeing this but I have AT&T at my apartment and same stuff happened to me. Was getting 200-N/A ping and 30%+ packet loss on COD-Warzone for the first time ever for seemingly no reason. Normally am getting 40-50 ping console which is pretty standard. Speedtest was 123/110 on my 100mb fiver Internet. Wonder what the issue is. Sounds intentional, especially if we’re not same apartment (I’m in BR)

quote:I have Spectrum now and there’s some issue between that game and Spectrum ISP. On nights I play COD, I’ll end up with 1 or 2 times where my entire internet connection drops for about 2-3 minutes. But the weird thing is that it would always happen right after a game ended...never during. And my internet never has any issues with service dropping any other time. Searching google, there’s others who have the same issue with Modern Warfare and Spectrum but no solutions.
