I use the desktop web interface in Chrome and don't see a pencil all I have is an ARMED with a ">" that leads to the screen where you can set the rules for that setting.There is also "Unarmed", "Schedule", "Geofencing"(If using mobile" and a "Add A Mode" button.
When I go to Settings > My Devices > Camera Name> Device Info
I get Hardware version H7
Firmware 1.2.16720
My base station is HW version VMB3010r2
Firmware 1.10.0.4_20963
Wish I could be more help, but I'm an Arlo newb also. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in or you can look for an Arlo forum.Sounds to me like a setting/software glitch.

I got it!!
Tried your suggestions but computer was being weird.
But it’s fixed! Just held in reset button for at least 30 seconds, re-synced each camera to base and BAM! All now detect motion!

P.S. I checked my specs against yours above and we’re running the same numbers.

Did they check in the back?
When I went it was off the floor, in the back in a “security cabinet” inaccessible to the public
