I have Cox but want to cut the chord. I have the most basic crap they'll offer for tv, which I never use. We have hd antennas in each room, netflix, hbo, et al....

I'm tired of paying 120-150/month for my internet.

Any suggestions?

I pay around $60-$70 for basic internet through Cox and it works fine. I bought my own modem, gave back theirs and the cable boxes, discontinued cable. Works good for me and I only pay Cox 1/2 of what it was before.

Unless you have ATT fiber option COX is your best bet.

Go renegotiate with them. I pay $50 for internet and my current speed test is 120 down.

I get 300MBps for $93. I think you can get gigabit service for around $100 as a new customer now.

If you're already in that range, get ATT Internet 1000 Stand-alone. $90/month. Approx 850 down; 950 up. Sometimes better. Still can't figure why up > than down.

You can get 125/10 for $50 through Cox, which will likely be plenty for you
