Apps running in background - pixel 3

Does anyone know how I can find what apps are running in the background for a pixel 3?
I know how to go to the app permissions to force stop an app, but that doesn't help when there are 150+ apps and I don't know which ones are running.
Phone last had a full charge as of 430p yesterday. Intermittent charging last night while watching TV (don't recall what the % was). Woke up this morning to 4%, plugged in for 15 minutes and it was up to 40%. My battery info says I have less than 2 hours of screen time since last full charge.
Similar situation yesterday, but I didn't think much of it because I ran it down on a long zoom call

Settings
Apps & notifications
See all apps
Then click each one (or the ones you suspect)
You can see how much data its burning through

Was hoping to avoid having to look at each one

I hit a few I suspected and shut off 3 so far.

My Pixel 3 got so bad I had to get the Moto G Power ($179) and just use the pixel as a camera. I can go three days on a charge now v 3 hours.
I tried everything. Multiple factory resets and safe modes etc.
