Looking at maybe getting an Apple Watch Ultra. Anyone here have one?

Aye, I have one and IF you have money to spend or a lot of apple credit AND have an older watch to turn in, I recommend it.
It’s pricey at 850$ after taxes, however, I had about 200$ in Apple Card money + got like 90$ back on my trade in of Apple Watch Series 5.
Pros:
Bigger, I like bigger watches and the Apple Watch always seemed dinky to me and my wrist.
Much longer battery life. I routinely workout 2x a day and I don’t have to worry about charging but maybe 1x every 2-3 days.
Takes an arse whipping. I banged mine accidentally against some metal gym equipment and also against some free weights and no scratches or dings. This previously cracked an old Apple Watch screen before.
I don’t do any diving or swimming but if you do, there’s even more Pros for those folks. It’s a quality watch, just kinda pricey.

Where did you trade in your old Apple Watch at?

I have an older dive computer, I’d rather have the ultra than upgrade it. Nice ones are pretty pricey and don’t have the functionality of the Apple Watch. I have an older Apple Watch that I enjoy so it would be cool to get an update, better battery and a dive computer.

I traded it in via the Apple website. They have a “form” you can fill out and input the IMEI # for your “old” watch and it’ll guesstimate what they give you for that watch.
Also, BestBuy did have a trade in form too but Apple was giving me like 20-30$ more so I went with them.

Have it. Love it. Recommend it. Sapphire crystal face is way more scratch resistant. Can go days without charging

Yea it’s legit for sure. I’d imagine it’ll be a big seller this Christmas.

I am a 100% mechanical watch rat but I bit & totally love this thing I love the ease of use of the apps plus all my assistants have them and it easy to walk-in talkie in the building without dragging the phone and also the phone feature is great if I am walking the dogs in gym shorts plus playing music from it to my ear buds
