Lately about half the calls I make via wifi, I can hear the other party but they can't hear me at all. Turn off wifi, works fine.
I'm doing the help chat right now and this bitch is trying to get me to troubleshoot my internet connection. That ain't the problem.
Now she wants me to cycle airplane mode and just wait and see if it helps. We'll see I guess.

Wifi calls working fine for me.
Calls in general have been pretty poor quality since I switched to the Moto X4. Wife complains all the time there is a horrible clicking sound whenever I call her. Didn't have that problem with the Nexus 6.
Should probably just bite the bullet and get the Pixel deal.

I believe it has been shitty when I've done WiFi calls at the office, but that's because our WiFi is shitty.

So far so good after a few calls.
The tried and true reset method works again it seems. I actually feel kind of silly for not doing that to begin with, but it had only happened in a few calls over the past few days so it didn't seem to be that kind of problem. Also a reset shouldn't be the real solution, as there is clearly something causing it.
I guess if it happens to you, try cycling airplane mode or power cycle the phone and hopefully it'll fix it. But I would probably report it, too, in hopes that more reports will get the root cause fixed sooner.

Interesting. I've always restarted my phone when it's acting weird and that has pretty much been 100% effective. Good to know that wasn't just me imagining things.

You have a VPN set up on your phone? If you do, try turning it off.
