I use both, and will say this. If I had to pick between a Samsung or iOS, I would choose iOS.
However, I have a pixel 2, and use my iPhone only when I need to contact or be contacted by people that have that number.

Switched years ago and will never go back to Apple.
One of the best benefits I had by switching was switching all of my music and photos to Google music and photos.
My Mac hard drive crashed about a month later (pre iCloud) and I would have lost everything had I not switched to Android.

pretty sure you can move your Itunes music.
