Anyone know how to get insignia fire TV remote to control cable channels that are plugged

Into HDMI 1?
I’ve done it before and can’t figure out how to set it up this way on another identical firetv that’s out on the patio using the same type of cable box fed into hdmi 1.
Tried google and no luck

Have you tried the “Equipment Control” menu?
I don’t recall my FireTV remote having anything for “channels”, only volume, mute, power.

You might have better luck controlling both with the cable remote.
