Anyone know how to cancel a hacked Facebook account?

My fianceé's Facebook got hacked and they changed email and passwords, so the recovery process won't work. I reported it to Facebook and they sent a message to the hacker because of the email address situation.
Can anything be done? Here's some pics of some messages I sent. (He changed her profile pic)

Yeah uhm.... This happened to my mom and she reported it, it was fixed within like half an hour.
