Any issues can get it for 1399.00 at Best buy right now and my old TV just crapped out. Looking at that one the newer one is 2499.00.

I've had a 77'' S90C for almost 15 months and love it (my understanding is that the 90D is a slight upgrade in some respects).
A few caveats:
1. I only play video games on it.
2. I wear headphones while playing video games.
3. The room it is in is pretty dark and there is no direct sunlight on the tv screen.

I have a 75" S90C that's about 1.5 years old. It's been a great TV. like the other poster said I think the S90D has only a few upgrades.

Thanks for the feedback, they have a few S90 D in stock at the local Best buy that's why I was looking at that one. They have one of the f models which is the new one but it's $2,500 bucks it looks really good on display I just don't know if it's worth $1,000 over the D model because I can't see it on the floor. I can say for the newer models though I can definitely see a difference between the 90 and the 85 series the 85 is way dimmer. The 90 is way brighter.

Based on this comparison, it doesn't seem like the S90F is $1,000 better than the S90D

But definitely read through the comparison to see which features/tests are most important to you.

Well decided to just get the latest and greatest and bought the 65" S90 F model from this year. Absolutely stunning picture on it. Im sure the D and C models look great also and I paid more than I should have but oh well. Fantastic TV so far

I snagged the 65 inch S90D on Prime day deal for 1200 last week. It's beautiful. Software runs smooth. No complaints. TV Speakers actually aren't that bad either but I've got my sound bar hooked up to it always.
