Anyone get the $400 gift card at Sam's for Iphone XR/XS/Max/11/Pro/Max

Went to apply for a seasonal job at Sam's this morning. Line was out the door at 6 AM for people waiting to get Iphone $400 gift card. Applied to any new purchase of XR/XS/Max/11/Pro/Max. The employee I spoke to said they would just be handing out reservation cards for the customers to come back to get the phones later in the day and week. Applies to Verizon, ATT and Sprint.
They are also doing $250 buy back for Iphone 8 256 or higher as well.
I still use an iPhone 4, and no way could I afford this, but those with extra money might consider this a good deal.

Perhaps not, but the transfer is easy for most. Plus you don't have to go through the hassle and risk of Swappa, which is not the most reputable company in the world, and apparently around 5% of sellers get ripped off.

I did this last year through Wal-Mart.
Got the last spot in line on Black Friday.
They actually sold my reserved 64g phone by accident so they were going to let me "borrow" a 256g phone until mine came in. ATT messed up and used the 256g serial number for my 64g phone price so I got to keep the more expensive phone.
The Wal-Mart guy scanned 2 of the $300 gift cards for me since it took almost 2 hours.
Got a 256g phone for $699 and $600 in Wal-Mart gift cards.
Fate was on my side.
