Never really heard of them before going on the hunt for a projector for the new man cave. I decided against 4K for my first one mainly bc I have so many things I’m trying to buy at once and I’m already spending an asspile of money for the construction of this space . Ended up going with the HT2050A model which had stellar Best Buy and google reviews. Came in around 750$ (3D specs included) through the BenQ website. Anyone have any experience with them ?

Yeah I still use mine i bought in 2014. Had to change bulbs since then, or at least its recommended after so many hours.

I love it, other people i know tried to copy my set up and for whatever reason theirs look like shite compared to mine. I also have always just used it on a blank white wall.

I have the mw663, was $541.98

Nice. I think I’ll be blown away by a huge arse picture like that for ball games and movies. I’m not gonna be too hung up on the picture not being razor sharp 4K.

yeah the res on mine isnt 4k, it looks great for sports, and also for playing playstation. Ive been happy with it.

It doesnt do that thing like ive seen tvs do where everything you watch looks fake or that its filmed like a soap opera.

Just looked at yours, the low input lag on that is good. Mine is 3000 lumens yours is 2200. But i always ran mine in ecco mode to save the light bulb.

Only thing was if you have a bright room it may fudge with it. But nothing some cheap blackout curtains cant fix if you have outside light coming in.

Also if you have multiple things hooked up just use an hdmi switch.

I've heard they are pretty good. I have an LG laser. Once you start watching on the projector your regular TV will be like watching on a phone. Just got a 65 Sony and my son really just uses it to watch kids shows. I'm displaced from the storm and watching a 40 inch or so Samsung and it's just not the same.

I have the same BenQ projector in my home theater that I purchased back in 2011. Lamp has about 3200 hours on it and has never been changed. Still looks great today.

Appreciate the replies fellas. Their reviews online are great but their direct website I ordered from was sketchy as hell . They didn’t even add tax to the total

Had a short throw BenQ projecting on a 10' screen. It was great and the resolution was surprisingly good. The only downside, you need a dark room.
