Anybody used streaming on motorhome?

Friend just bought motorhome with DTV system. Trying to see if there is a legitimate streaming alternative via hotspot or other. Mostly watching sports. Any suggestions or just go with DTV?

Depends on where you're taking the motorhome. Some camp grounds have wifi, so anything you can stream from home you can stream there.

So no good for tailgating. That’s what I assumed but didn’t know if there was some technology I didn’t know about.

Outside of paying for a mobile hotspot plan, or trying to set up a phone as a wifi network, there are really no good options. You could also get a chromecast or something to cast video from your phone to the TV. Of course all of those are limited by how fast your connection is through mobile.

Very few campground wifi systems are worth a crap. You are lucky if you can browse the internet much less streaming.
