Samsung Q6 is the best of that bunch. Not a bad TV.

I have a 55” LG with the magic remote. Bought it about a year ago. No problems yet.

How about this? I just hung my old 50" on the new fireplace yesterday and it is being swallowed.
Samsung 65" RU9000
Just went to Best Buy to look at it. I compared that picture to the following and my go the Q80T route. Thoughts?

My buddy just bought that exact TV from Costco for 600 or 700 bucks. He fired it up for the first time this last saturday. Seemed to be fine, but it's lower end model (thus the $600 price tag). The Q80T is going to be a much better TV, but the Q80R is going to be even better than that...the 2019 models for Samsung perform better than the 2020 models.
Here's a pic of his RU9000 about 20 minutes after plugging in (the one on the right)

Can't really find the Q80R except a site called ABC TVs. Ever heard of them?

Yes. There are also a few to be had on Amazon, but they're still going for $2,500 (for the 75" version). I'm hoping it comes down a few hundred and I'll go for it.

Most of the reviews I saw for ABC TVs were poor. Some said they are selling refurbished as new.
What about Q8DT at costco?

That's gonna be the Q80T (2020 model) just with a different product number, which Costco does for some reason. It's a great TV, just not as great from a true specs perspective as the 2019.

I assume you are referring to the blur.
I was going to get the Q60T, but when I saw the lighting on the 80 with a 120HZ refresh I changed my mind. I wish I could find a Q80R for a reasonable price.
I will watch that video, thanks.
ETA: It looks like you can get the Q70R for $1600 which according to the video is the same as the Q80T. That may be the way to go.

That wouldn't be a bad choice. The video does say that the Q80T is on par with the Q70R.
And as for the picture, no, that was just me snapping a pic when something on screen was moving. It's a perfectly fine TV, just not as nice as the Q70R or Q80T. I think, at a minimum, you should pick up a set that's 120 hz.

Thanks for you help. If I go the Q80 route I will go through Costco as they throw in a warranty bundle for free.
