Research suggests that I have to use a launcher. Don't even know what that is.

The desktop (where your widgets and app icons go) and your app drawer (where you can see all your installed apps) is all part of your launcher app.
In other words, you can't really "see" Android. Everything you see and interact with is an app of some kind running on top of Android, and your launcher is the app that lets you launch other apps.

I think I'll just try to get by with fewer per line. Not a huge deal. Last bug is getting a song...one frikin' song, to the new phone that is on the old, yet I can't find it to download on new one. I want them downloaded due to time spent in no coverage areas with no wifi either. Hell, I could have just bought it again

Do you remember the name of the file? On the old phone you can search the name in ES file explorer or search for the ringtones folder.

As it turns out, this one song was in downloads and not music. I have no idea how that happened, and why it would show up as an available song on my old phone in the music app. Dragged and dropped from desktop, and now it appears all my music is on the phone.
Thanks for putting up with my ignorance on this, but you really were warned

We like to help but we like to have fun as well.

Sometimes CAD can't help himself from entering a thread completely naked and making a helicopter motion with his deck.
