Airplay won’t play on my new LG TV

Just bought this TV last week and yesterday I was going to AirPlay the lsu game from espn + onto it but every time I tried, it would just go back to the “AirPlay setup” screen on the tv.
On my phone it would say “now playing through AirPlay on TV”, and the little loading circle on the TV would appear then it would just go back to the “airplay setup” screen.
Both TV and ESPN app are totally updated.
Does anyone have a fix??

Yeah I just tried YouTube and airplay worked perfectly. Must be an issue with espn.
