The google machine isn't helping much. I've been searching for hours trying to find a specific application, but I just don't see anything on the market.

I need a ceiling TV mount that I can quickly & easily adjust the height. Meaning, this tv will be on my patio and I want to store it up near the ceiling and then pull it down (18"-24") when in use.

Something like this, but without having to unscrew the bolt every time. Something like this must exist, I just can't find it...

Replace "adjustable" in your search with "retractable".

Nope. There are "flip up" mounts and all of the expensive ones that lower out of the ceiling.

Well now you've got me stumped too. Did a quick check for articulated ceiling mounts, no bueno there as well.

It’s hard to tell how this thing adjust and there’s no description on the webpage.

And it’s fricking expensive.

Buy the one in your link. Drill a hole through the pipes for you up and down positions and stick a pin in it like this or similar

If you could wall mount it, this would work

Way too expensive

That's my plan right now, unless I find something that works. The TV is light weight and will be easy for hold, remove pin, lift/lower, and replace pin. In a perfect world, I'd love to be able to do it with one hand. I envisioned something like the arm on your car hood that assists with the movement... still don't see anything that exists on the market.

Don't want to wall mount. It's in a corner of the patio and it just wouldn't look right for what I'm trying to do.
