What's the cleanest/best value way to add a scoreboard to a pre-recorded video?

I assume I could have someone professionally do it, but is there a good way to do it myself?

Thanks.

What kind of sport is it? What do you want on the scoreboard? Anything having time on it will be incredibly hard to sync up. A simple scoreboard could be an overlay. I assume you could do that using OBS or some other program people use for their youtube streams. If it's a low scoring or long time between scoring (not basketball), then it should be very easy to add overlays of the scoreboard to show the score.

Edited to include a link to an obs scoreboard: OBS Scoreboard

Volleyball, so no time but many score changes in short time.

I would ask this on the Fark board.

Check out OBS and that link. I think it could work to put together videos that you want. You could stream the game and add the overlay with the score on it and save it to youtube all in one shot. If I was doing it, this would be how I would do it.
