Never had too much of problem with him calling games in the past, but he was absolutely awful last saturday during the LAvLA game.
I would take Bretos over Twelman all day er'day

Ahh. I see your point. Analyst must mean former player. Anyway, Bretos was much more enjoyable during the Saturday night broadcast.
I like El Macca though, and as I'll be focusing primarily on the England games, I should be able to avoid Twellman for the most part. Hopefully they stick him with some of the bottom tier games. Don't let him get near...Germany, Holland, Spain, or England.
I guess there is always the mute button though.

Jurgy's an analyst in the UK (I think for Sky).

He was an analyst for ESPN during the WC.

I don't think I've heard Kasey do a match.
What about Roberto Martinez? He's freaking awesome.....one day he'll have a thick grey beard, and have "inside jokes with complete strangers."

I swear that I read that Martinez would be an analyst for espn again for the euro. He was wonderful to listen to at the world cup.
I'm glad bretos will be hosting rather than Bob ley or fowler. Bretos is a soccer guy.
Keller should be interesting. Tight shirt twellman is definitely the weak link but he's not too bad. Not sure the euro is really his area of expertise though. He never played there. He does a decent job with the coverage of US games though.

I hate to give ESPN any kind of props. As the years pass, they simply anger me all the more, with their agendas, and blatant self-serving nature.
However, Ley has been a soccer guy for decades, as well. He liked it from the beginning and has always done it. He's not Max Bretos who LIVES it, and it oozes from every pore, but who is?

Fair enough. I didn't mean to hate on Ley I agree he seems to love it and did a great job at the world cup. Ive always like ley in general as well. He doesn't follow European club soccer though and I'd prefer someone who follows these players week in week out like bretos does.
Oh and may I add: Yeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh
