I have a feeling that we'll have a damn strong team in 6 years.

This could've easily been a quote from 2010 or any other year in recent memory.

And it's still accurate at 2010.

I feel better about out youth than I did back then. Look at the 2010 roster. How many of those players really had a lot of promise at that time and we're younger than 25? 22 Bradley, 24 Holden, and 20 Altidore?
On the team now, Brooks, Yedlin, Pulisic, Wood, maybe Kitchen and Horvath? Nagbe is only 25. CCV is close to breaking into the first team as an 18 year old. Hyndman looks good and is moving to a better situation. Morris was left off the roster. Manneh is about to get his citizenship. Miazga isn't far from getting a lot of minutes with the NT. We just had two of our best 16 year olds sign with MLS teams. If only half of those guys pan out, we'll be much better than we are today.
Forgot to mention we also have guys like Timothy Weah tearing it up at PSG.

Bournemouth have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Emerson Hyndman, who was never given the proper minutes at Fulham because retards run that place now. More good youth talent squandered.
Best of luck to Emerson.

Let's hope he gets minutes.

Thats crazy, I was playing my Fifa manager mode last night. Rebuilding Wigan Atheltic, i got them out of league 1 to Championship league. I'm playing against Bournemouth and its freaking Michael Bradley playing CM for them lol.
Btw my midfield is looking young and stacked.
Manneh LM-77 overall
Pulisic CAM-78
Gboly RM-76

I like it. I think they could be good for him. Premier League, step up, small club where he has chance to play.

Article on Andrew Carleton and gives some insight from Bocanegra on how AUFC plans to use their academy.

All sounds good. AUFC really seems to be heavily committed to the academy. Definitely agree with not rushing him to the senior side too soon. Freddy Adu is still too fresh in everyone's minds to make a mistake like that again.
Wonder how "affiliated" AUFC and Charleston Battery will actually be. Like Chelsea-Vitesse?

I'm hoping he makes the step up to the senior team this year. He's been a stud for our youth teams and imo he's one of the more promising players in our pool.

At least get a loan. Time to start playing against men.
